Data turns into
Data is the new oil. But it is an art to use it profitably. Datahouse AG recognized this early and is a big data specialist right from the start. The quality that lies in the visualization of abstract data should also be visible in the new brand design. In keeping with the Datahouse slogan “Data turns into information.”
Datahouse AG supports its customers across industries and across the entire data lifecycle. The service spectrum is complex. It starts with the initial requirements analysis, goes beyond statistics and data competence to the implementation of innovative, technical applications. In addition, Datahouse takes over the operation and support of the application. The challenge for the new web site was to bundle and present the very complex and often technically abstract facts in such a way that they are easily understandable and content-wise accessible to the customer.
The solution was to group the services into four core competencies: data collection, data processing, data analysis and data visualization. Furthermore, a minimalistic, linear-graphic system was developed which was the basis for designing icons and large-scale image motifs with symbolic significance which also could be brought to life dynamically.
Another special requirement was the development of a versatile color system. The color palette for corporate or user interface design was to be extended so that complex data visualizations could be integrated harmoniously.
The cherry on the top was the realization of a small breakout game that was placed as an easter egg on the website, along with the new newsletter design that crowned the launch.
